The a2 Milk Company (ASX: A2M) FY25 results: Strong growth, but disappointing guidance
Strong earnings growth and free cashflow in FY 2025 but expecting a big capital expenditure bill in FY 2026.
A2 Milk (ASX: A2M) is an Australian milk company that sells milk collected from special cows that only have the A2 protein in their milk, rather than the A1 protein, and the A2 protein. A2 Milk rose to prominence as a major beneficiary of the daigou trade, though this proved ephemeral. For a time, A2 Milk infant formula was very popular in China.
A2 Milk partners with manufacturers such as Synlait (ASX: SM1), in which it also owns shares. A2 Milk sells both fresh milk, and powdered milk.
Strong earnings growth and free cashflow in FY 2025 but expecting a big capital expenditure bill in FY 2026.
