‘Digital Art Fair Asia’ bridges the physical and digital art world

As both a physical and digital visual art fair, ‘Digital Art Fair Asia’ is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. It will feature a 360° immersive art experience as well as bevy of NFT digital art. You can join in person and online until 17 October to peruse the art and also learn about the advent of blockchain, 3D mapping, VR and AR from international speakers.

In the fair’s physical space on Queens Road in Central, HK, you’ll find more than 200 digital and NFT artworks. Online you can buy limited edition prints, authenticated by Zhen. Sotheby’s are participating with animations and an immersive installation by Refik Anadol, whose interests are data and machine intelligence for public art, data sculpture and paintings.

There will be a series of screenings, talks, tours and workshops from artists, professionals, collectors, and those from the art and technology sector.

While these have already got going, there is still time to log on and learn; for example, ‘New Media Art: Human Consciousness and Machine Learning’ on Monday 11 October, 12pm HKT, ‘Collecting NFT Art: from Andy Warhol to Damien Hirst’ on Wednesday 13 October, 12pm HKT and ‘Generating Social Capital and Unlocking the Creator Economy with NFTs’ on Thursday 14 October, 4pm HKT.
