List Of Ethical Stocks On The ASX
This is a list of some of the ethical businesses that have their stock listed on the ASX. These are not the only profitable and ethical stocks that you can buy shares of on the ASX, but each of these companies seem to me to do more good than harm.
Since ethics are subjective, I’m sure that many readers will disagree that all these stocks are ethical shares, and that’s fair enough. However, I offer this list not as a definite pronouncement of ethical stocks on the Australian sharemarket, but simply to share the names, and tickers, of some of the businesses that I consider to be ethical.
As Australians increasingly realise that they can manage their own investments through a Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF), ethical investing has become more popular, and many investors consider whether a stock is ethical before they buy in. Ethics need not be the only consideration, of course, but like many others I prefer to invest in ethical businesses, as long as I stand a good chance of doing so very profitably.
With that in mind, it’s well worth noting that this list has not considered whether the current share price of these ethical is attractive, and in no way constitutes a recommendation or list of ethical stock tips. The judgement that I have exercised in putting this list together is completely subjective. I encourage others to think about their own ethics, and invest accordingly.
