What to see at VIVID Sydney 2023

VIVID Sydney is open this weekend and will be on view until 17 June 2023. You can access the full program here of light installations, music, ideas and food. With a great number of events to explore and enjoy the VIVID team have curated a series of itineraries to guide your journey.

Check out the 8.5km VIVID Sydney Light Walk which will take you from Circular Quay to finish up at Central Station having experienced 60 attractions, including light installations, 3D-mapped projections, venue takeovers and jaw-dropping spectacles.

Music to your ears! VIVID is presenting a line-up of performances across the city. Take your pick of intimate events like Christine Anu at the Supper Club, larger concerts such as Cat Power or José González and wave of dance gigs.

Nature lover? Don’t miss VIVID House at The Cutaway, Barangaroo. This immersive art experience will offer up a psychedelic smorgasbord of mountain peaks, verdant valleys, corals, oceanic photography and Sydney’s hidden coves.

Stimulate the mind’s eye, with a series of talks on a range of topics from neurodivergence to ethical travel, art, climate change and also satire and friendship as Jennifer Coolidge and Mike White are in conversation moderated by Benjamin Law.  

An array of dining opportunities will be served, from the provocative ‘play with your dinner’ art and food event to The Warakirri Dining Experience which will table a 5-course menu that celebrates First Nations ingredients sourced on Gadigal Land.
