Getting Bearish On Audinate (ASX: AD8)
I think some of the company’s customers will run into trouble…
Audinate Group (ASX: AD8) is an Australian technology company specialising in digital audio-visual networking solutions. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Sydney, Audinate is renowned for its Dante platform, which enables the transmission of high-quality digital audio and video signals over standard IP networks.
Dante technology is widely adopted in professional live sound, commercial installations, broadcast, public address, and recording industries, replacing traditional analogue cables with synchronised, low-latency AV over Ethernet. The platform includes software products like Dante Controller, Dante Virtual Soundcard, and Dante Domain Manager, as well as hardware components such as chips, cards, and modules integrated into OEM products.
Audinate listed on the ASX in June 2017 at an IPO price of $1.22 per share. The company continues to expand its global presence, serving OEM partners and AV professionals across various sectors.
