The Nanosonics (ASX: NAN) AGM 2023 Flags Softer Sales Conditions
The Nanosonics (ASX: NAN) AGM reveals challenging conditions for the hospital industry but management is buoyed by CORIS progress.
Nanosonics (ASX: NAN) is a healthcare company that specialises in developing and manufacturing innovative medical devices. Nanosonics’ main product, launched in 2009, is the Trophon EPR, a machine that automatically performs and documents high level disinfection on ultrasound probes. However, it also plans to launch a new product for endoscope disinfection.
Nanosonics makes money by selling both Trophon devices but also the proprietary hydrogen peroxide NanoNebulant capsules consumed in each disinfection cycle. This means each sale of a device is accompanied by ongoing revenue linked to usage of the device, sometimes called a razor plus blade business model.
